iPhone applications: I create great mobile applications of the future. I do this by using my wide ranging knowledge, experience and creativity in the design, development and production of mobile phone applications.

I develop enriching online experiences by utilising my extensive understanding of HTML and CSS. I also combine my strong object orientated JavaScript skills to provide a further 3rd dimension of interaction.

I put my passion and proven track record to work in order to design smart, simple and elegant solutions to complex technical problems.

Algorythm

A Music app built in Swift 2.0 and Xcode 7.0.

Technical description:

This app allows users to select a particular playlist, which in this case is a simulated returned music list which is parsed from it's native JSON format.

Built in Xcode 7.0 and Swift 2.0. This application allows the user to play music composed by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Technical description:

This application combines both UIKit and the Core Audio framework, in order to allow the user to play a single MP3 track.

Zelenakashta

Zelenakashta which means 'Green House' in Bulgarian, is a holiday home, who's owner approached me to build a website, to promote the villa for rental to holiday makers.

Built in Xcode 7.0 and Swift 2.0. This application allows the user to calculate the age of their cat, in 'cat years'.

Technical description:

This application uses UIKit by means of which to allow the user to display the age of their cat.

This was new website for a tourist attraction to increase visitor footfall.

Built in Xcode 7.0 and Swift 2.0. This application allows the user to create a list of memorable places they have visited.

Technical description:

This application uses UIKit specifically UITableViews to display a list of memorable places, as well as combining the MapKit framework, to determine the location of a landmark or place of interest.

Built in Xcode 7.0 and Swift 2.0. This iPhone application allows the user to enter a number and the application lets the user know if it is a prime number.

Technical description:

This application uses UITextLabel by means too display the answer to the user if the number they have entered is a prime number.

Built in Xcode 7.0 and Swift 2.0. This iPhone application allows the user to shake the phone and play a random sound.

Technical description:

This application uses a variety of development frameworks including Core Motion, Core Audio and combines it with UIKit to complete this application.

Built in Xcode 7.0 and Swift 2.0. This is a stopwatch application which allows the user to tap the start button, and begin counting the number seconds which have elapsed.

Technical description:

This IPhone application uses the NSTimer object with UIKit to create this application.

Stormy 2.0

Built in Xcode 7.1 and Swift 2.0. This application is an upgraded version of the 'Stormy' app which now shows the weather for the week ahead.

Technical description:

This IPhone application uses data from the Open Weather API, which is in JSON format that is deserialized and displayed in UITableView.

Technical description:

This IPhone application uses a variety of UIKit elements including UITextFields to allow user input.

Technical description:

This IPhone application parses JSON data from a weather API and displays it on the screen. This app was built in Swift 1.0 when Apple had just released it.

Built in Android Studio using Java. This application shows a random fact once the button has been tapped.

This Android application was built using a variety of standard frameworks.

Built in Android Studio using Java. This application shows the current weather for London.

Technical description:

Stormy was built using Android Studio and Java as it’s programming language with the use a number of 3rd party libraries. The app parses weather data in JSON format from Forecast.io with the use of OkHttp. Furthermore this app’s UI also utilises Butter Knife, which is a library that binds views in Android applications.

Built in Xcode 5.0 and Objective C. This application was built to promote North Yorkshire and encourage visitors to holiday in the area.

This IPhone application uses a variety of frameworks including UIKit, Core Location and MapKit, as well as consuming an API to pull in the data.
